After what they say was a “productive showing” at CEDIA EXPO in September, the PowerHouse Alliance of distribution companies are gearing up for an active Q4 packed with member events and trainings to be held across the country. From weekend-long dealer expos to trainings on the most in-demand products, Alliance members are readying themselves for an increase in traffic and new connections.
October will the most busy with at least four members hosting large dealer events. In the Midwest region, Consumer Electronics Distributors (C.E.D) is holding its 15th Annual Fall Ball at both its Chicago-area location on Wednesday, October 15, and at its Milwaukee-area location the following day. Both dealers and members of the media are invited to experience the latest in consumer electronics that they may have missed at CEDIA, including an exclusive demo of DOLBY Atmos to be hosted at the Illinois venue.
Audio America and 21st Century Distributing, which cover the southeast region for the Alliance, will both be hosting dealer events in October. On October 24 and 25, 21st Century will host dealers, vendors, and media for its Annual Dealer Expo in Myrtle Beach. After golf and fishing tournaments, 21st Century will bring dealers face-to-face with top industry manufacturers along with the chance to win the hottest products during giveaways throughout the expo. Audio America will host dealers in Jupiter, FL, on October 24 and again in Atlanta, GA, the following Saturday for its Annual October Show. To close out October, MRI will be holding its 12th Annual Dealer Expo in Sturbridge, MA, on October 28.
All thirteen members will be holding a variety of training sessions this season at several different locations within each of their respective regions. Volutone will be taking their Commercial A/V Road Show to six different locations throughout October and November, including stops in Las Vegas and Irvine, CA.
In recent months, PowerHouse members and dealers increased their focus on the topic of security, which many of their upcoming training sessions reflect. To highlight the Alliance’s growth in this sector, Dorrance, CTD Marketing Professionals, and Electrical Distributing Inc. will all be holding 2GIG training sessions this month in Cranberry, PA, Columbus, OH, and Seattle, WA, respectively.
“All of our members have remained steadfast in their efforts to achieve our overall goals for growth within the past year, and I am confident that we will continue to improve heading into Q4,” said Dennis Holzer, president of the PowerHouse Alliance. “With such a wide variety of training offerings and dealer events happening throughout the Alliance, we can really start to forge a name for ourselves in the realm of security and continue to drive both dealer and customer engagement.”
