PPC is committed to bringing superior HDMI solutions to the market, and now the company apparently wants to prove its quality by adding its Perfect Path line cable and connector products to DPL Labs’ Digital Performance Level Seal of Approval Program.
PPC joins a consortium of brands committed to having their products verified by the testing and approval process of DPL’s fully independent testing laboratory.
“PPC is clearly committed to providing better performing HDMI cables to their dealers and consumers and this new association with DPL Labs is a very visible indicator of just how seriously they take that commitment,” DPL Labs President Jeffrey Boccaccio commented. “We are additionally impressed with PPC’s long history of introducing ground-breaking and innovative solutions that contribute to better and more reliable connectivity in the field.”
PPC, a U.S.-based privately held company, has been producing connectivity products for more than 65 years in the Upstate New York region. Originally founded to help meet the demands of World War II, the company has grown to offer a diversified product line including hardline and drop connectors, traps and filters, and wireless products for the cable and telecommunications industries.
In 2009, PPC launched the Perfect Path brand of consumer connectors and cables with a line of products, including HDMI models. Focusing on the custom integration and installation channel, Perfect Path products include models featuring the PPC locking HDMI connector
“Partnering with DPL Labs is a great match for PPC,” said Eric Bodley, Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Products for PPC. “With DPL’s commitment to helping bring superior HDMI solutions to the market, as well as educating dealers and installers about advanced technologies and techniques, DPL couldn’t be more perfectly aligned with core principles enthusiastically embraced by the whole team at PPC.”
