ProSource has partnered with Alarm.com, a cloud services provider for the connected home. ProSource and Alarm.com initiated their partnership at the former’s Power Dealer meeting last month. The partnership will officially launch at the CEDIA EXPO ProSource Cocktail Reception, cosponsored by Alarm.com on September 11 in Denver, CO.
Alarm.com offers a complete connected home services platform to ProSource’s 500+ members, which include some of the top integrators in the country. Alarm.com’s interactive security, video monitoring, energy management, and intelligent automation solutions are all controlled through a single intuitive mobile app. With a broad range of devices connected to the platform, Alarm.com provides high-value solutions that can be customized to fit a wide range of customer needs. More than 2 million homes and businesses are powered by Alarm.com’s reliable and proven cloud platform.
ProSource’s relationship with Alarm.com was developed and secured thanks to ProSource’s Membership Committee led by director of membership Sherry Dantonio and further vetted by ProSource’s Custom Integration (CI) Committee. “Our committees are invaluable at targeting key manufacturers and technologies that will be assets to our members,” said Jim Ristow, co-president and CBO of ProSource. “We have several committees all with varying expertise that help us to identify new opportunities like these in emerging markets.
