ProSource Power Dealer Meeting Brings Integrators Together

ProSource—the specialty and consumer-electronics merchandising group in the United States comprising members of both Home Entertainment Source (HES) and PRO Group—recently held its annual Power Dealer Meeting in Phoenix, July 24–26.

The Power Dealer Meeting brings together ProSource’s top integrators—the largest and most respected integrators in the country—and select vendors for three days of education, idea exchange, networking, and entertainment.

Both ProSource members attending for the first time and veteran attendees attested to the value of the Power Dealer Meeting: “It’s always worth the trip—sharing new ideas, collaborating, and being with some of the best in the industry. [ProSource] truly puts on a great event,” said Shawn Hansson, Logic Integration, who gave a presentation on creating company-wide processes during the three-day event.

“This was my first Power Dealer Meeting, and I was very impressed with the organization of the event and the participation by the vendors. The best part was networking with the best in our industry. I will definitely be attending next year,” said Russ Radke, Premiere Music and Film Systems.

With the residential consumer-electronics market picking up, attendees found immense value in the presentation on hiring and managing given by guest speaker Dan Abramson of Staff Dynamics. Round-table discussions on everything from closing a project to maintenance agreements to reoccurring revenue proved to be big hits. ProSource dealers also got to conduct one-on-one business meetings with high-level managers from various ProSource vendor partners. As an added bonus, members enjoyed the Chicago Cubs vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks while networking with peers.

“ProSource is building a lot of momentum with meetings like these and others we have hosted over the last several months, as is evidenced by the fact that we are consistently picking up more and more key integrators from around the country,” said executive vice president of ProSource, Jim Ristow. “The Power Dealer Meeting was yet another way for us to bring together the biggest and most talented integrators around for an incredible idea exchange.”
