Qsonix has made its new Remote Pro for iPad app available for free download in the iTunes store.

Qsonix’ touchscreen GUI now utilizes gestures, flicks, scrolls and pop-ups.

The touchscreen graphic user interface (GUI) now utilizes gestures, flicks, scrolls and pop-ups to provide a powerful music management experience, according to the company. The browsing and playback control capabilities replicate the company’s touchscreen user experience.

In addition to the freedom of wireless control, features for the Remote Pro iPad app include high-speed visual browsing by album art, flexible queuing/playback functions such as play-now, play-later, play-next for individual tracks, albums or playlists, independent controls of all available output/zones and auto-discovery of Qsonix Music Management Systems.

Qsonix’s latest Q205 & Q210 music management systems incorporate Wadia Digital’s digital audio output technology.

“We’re very excited to release the new Remote Pro iPad app to our customers,” said Qsonix president, Mike Weaver. “Once a dealer or client has the iPad in their hands with the Qsonix Remote Pro app controlling the system, they’re speechless except for the oohs and ahs. We showed the preliminary version at CES in January, and the unveiling was a huge success.”
