Control4 has announced its products have been chosen by RCS Pro AV as preferred control systems for the exclusive 375 Kensington High Street residential development by St Edward, a joint venture company owned by Berkeley and the Prudential, in London, UK.

Specialist installer RCS is integrating Control4 systems to control home entertainment, lighting, heating, ventilation and air con (HVAC).

Richard Reid, managing director at RCS said: “Stsat Edward was looking for premium technology that would add an extra draw for the executive clientele of this highly desirable development. It was important that the control products we chose were both simple to use and would complement the design aesthetic of the interiors. Our installation of Control4 automation sets a new benchmark for luxury at the most exclusive end of the residential market.”

Residents at 375 Kensington High Street will be able use the Control4 MyHome application with their Android or Apple-based PCs, smartphones and tablets, or Control4 7-inch Touch Screens to control whole-home lighting and entertainment including music and movie libraries. In addition, homeowners can easily upgrade their Control4 system functionality to add temperature control, shades or security or add personalized options through an array of control and social apps available in the Contol4 4Store.

Hamish Neale, Control4’s territory sales manager EMEA, said: “There has been a lot of talk on the promise of the smart home and thanks to our relationships with forward-looking dealers such as RCS Pro AV, we are making this a reality. People often don’t recognize the benefits that home automation offers until they experience them and we’re confident that the residents of 375 Kensington High Street will appreciate the extent to which home control can improve their quality of life.”
