ReQuest Releases v1.9.2

Ballston Spa, NY--ReQuest Multimedia has debuted its latest AudioReQuest software, v1.9.2.

Ballston Spa, NY–ReQuest Multimedia has launched its latest AudioReQuest software, v1.9.2.

v1.9.2 features automatic Internet AlbumArt Lookup, Play While Encoding, New Screen Saver Options, Enhanced Feedback for control systems such as Crestron and AMX, and the latest Free dB Database containing over 1,000,000 albums. Also, included are updates for JavaRemote 4.5 Windows and Macintosh Remote Software, ARQPocket 2.0 PocketPC software and the latest Crestron modules and panel designs.

With Internet AlbumArt Lookup, an AudioReQuest can now automatically look up album art when connected to the Internet. By dropping a CD, server simultaneously looks up both the text information and corresponding cover art for the album. The new JavaRemote 4.5 and ARQPocket 2.0 both display AlbumArt over IP.

Play While Encoding allows users to encode music to their collection as they listen to other songs already encoded to their collection.

According to Steve Vasquez, co-founder of ReQuest Multimedia, “v1.9.2 represents the best of what ReQuest has to offer. These added features are based on feedback received from our substantial dealer base. I’m extremely proud of the way our team responded with what we feel are groundbreaking features for the digital music server market.”

Effective immediately, all AudioReQuest models will be shipped with the new software update.
