Resi Awards Finalists Announced

39 products compete for 13 Residential Systems magazine industrial design prizes.

New York, NY–Residential Systems magazine has selected the 39 finalists for its second-annual Resi Awards, which honor the most innovative product designs in the custom installation industry. An esteemed panel of custom installers and industrial designers judged this years entries on their aesthetic appeal, ergonomic design, and installability.

This years Resi finalists once again demonstrate the importance of sophisticated designs for todays home electronics, said Jeremy Glowacki, editor of Residential Systems. All of this years finalists combine innovative engineering with elegant design, offering custom installers with products that surpass the aesthetic and performance needs of their demanding clients.

The judges have recognized three Resi Awards finalists in each of the contests 13 product categories. Thirteen category winners will be announced at the 2005 Resi Awards reception, held at 5 p.m. during CEDIA EXPO in Indianapolis, IN, September 8, 2005, in Room 146 of the Indiana Convention Center.
