Residential Systems Names Best Industrial Designs

The big Resi Award winner was Sonance for its Architectural Series, which won Best Speaker (In-Wall or In-Ceiling) and Product Design of the Year as the top vote getter.

Residential Systems magazine announced the winners of the 2007 Resi Awards for top industrial designs in the custom installation manufacturing community, yesterday at CEDIA EXPO in Denver.

The big winner this year was Sonance for its Architectural Series, which won Best Speaker (In-Wall or In-Ceiling) and Product Design of the Year as the top vote getter.

The other category winners were: Best AV Controller or Component: Control4’s Home Controller HC-300; Best AV Mount: Vantage Point’s The evo system; Best Combined Product Family: Kaleidescape’s Second-Generation Entertainment Server; Best Control Interface: Universal Remote Control’s MX-810 Remote Control; Best Custom Installation Accessory: iSky Panel Systems; Best Media Server: Escient’s FireBall FP-1; Best Power Management Product: Furman’s Reference i-series; Best Speakers (Bookshelf or Tower): Bowers & Wilkins’ Signature Diamond; Best Speakers (On-Wall): Leon Speakers’ Horizon 414-LCR; Best Video Display Device (tie): Fujitsu’s AVIAMO P65FT00AUB and Runco’s VX-22 CineWide with AutoScope.
