RHINO Adjusts Roles of Sales Team Members

The organizational changes were made to meet the needs of consumers and customers, especially in datacom and electrical, security and pro audio/video.

Stamford, CT — RHINO Professional Labeling Tools, a brand of DYMO and part of Newell Rubbermaid’s Technology business unit, is changing the roles of several of its sales team members and has added a national sales manager. According to the company, these organizational changes were made to meet the needs of its consumers and customers, especially in datacom and electrical, security and pro audio/video.

“We are seeing many changes in the marketplace today,” said Robert Rosenquist, director of sales and channel marketing for DYMO. “Installers who typically specialize in pro audio/video are now adding security to their portfolios. The same is true of electricians who are now entering the datacom arena. Convergence of this nature is a major trend and growth strategy in today’s marketplace, and we want to be sure that our RHINO solutions and organization are best serving the needs of our consumers and customers.”

To help achieve this goal, a new national sales manager role has been created and filled by Jeff Howes. He will be responsible for all industrial account management, national account managers and area sales managers. Howes previously worked in Newell Rubbermaid’s Tools & Hardware business unit, where he spent the last three years at IRWIN as a regional manager for the industrial construction business.

Realignment in the roles of existing RHINO team members include: Al Feaster, RCDD, formerly RHINO’s datacom channel manager, will take on the role of national account manager, in which he will be responsible for TIA/Bicsi training and customer education across the country. He will also work to build relationships with other manufacturers and specification engineers, with the goal of assisting the work of system designers and installers

Craig Robinson, formerly RHINO’s southeast regional sales manager, will now serve as RHINO’s national account manager in the datacom and electrical channels. Keith Smith, formerly RHINO’s national field sales manager, will take on the title of national account manager, security/pro AV. Alex Mortensen will assume sole responsibility for the MRO/construction segment of business as senior key account manager Kilby McCurley, formerly RHINO’s key account manager for MRO, has moved into the position of area sales manager for southeast United States, previously held by Craig Robinson.
