Riptopia Taps Former PARA President

David Stollmack has joined the digital media processing company as a senior consultant.

Washington, D.C.–Riptopia, a digital media processing company, has enlisted David Stollmack as senior consultant to the company. Stollmack is a former president of the Professional Audio/Video Retailers Association (PARA).

“David Stollmack is the ideal fit for Riptopia’s business development team, and his 30 years of experience in the A/V retail industry balances Riptopia’s expertise in computers and digital media,” said Riptopia president Dr. Kurt Beyer. “He will serve as a valuable guide for Riptopia, and enable us to help A/V retailers throughout the U.S. market sell more turnkey digital media centers and music servers.”

Stollmack was co-founder of Audio Video Systems, a three-store operation in the greater Charlotte area for 13 years before selling to Tweeter Home Entertainment. As a Riptopia senior consultant, Stollmack will contribute to Riptopia’s A/V outreach campaigns by educating his fellow A/V insiders on the emergence of the digital age and how Riptopia can help them bridge the digital divide.

“Riptopia is an excellent resource for the hybrid audio/video retailers and custom installers,” Stollmack said. “As more and more consumers become aware of the benefits of storing their music on hard drives, dealers will derive significant benefits from their partnership with Riptopia. I was immediately impressed with Riptopia’s vision and passion to provide the highest possible experience for both consumers and dealers.”
