Throckmorton has moved from Wildwood, Missouri, to a larger facility in Eureka, Missouri.
Throckmorton purchased land and erected a 17,000 square feet facility that includes a warehouse, showroom, training facility, loading docks and even a drive-in door. The new facility is located in Eureka Industrial Park, on the I-44 corridor at the Six Flags Amusement Park exit and within 1/8 mile of the Interstate Highway. The company serves dealers in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Southern Illinois.
Ron Throckmorton, principal of R.J. Throckmorton said, “We now offer a ‘will call center’ and based on what we have seen so far, this is going to get a great deal of use. Many traditional just-in-time dealers have picked up their orders and we can see that turnaround time has vastly improved. We believe that our overall efficiency is better, which speaks to the cornerstone of what our company provides, which is service. We have also arranged with FedEx to leave an empty 53-foot trailer at our dock each day, which they in turn pick-up each evening, thus allowing maximum efficiency for our warehouse people to load all day long.”
