RTI Appoints Tyler Nelson as National Product Trainer

Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) has named Tyler Nelson as a national product trainer for the company.

Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) has named Tyler Nelson as a national product trainer for the company.

In his new role, Nelson is responsible for designing and conducting product training and education programs for the company’s dealers and distribution partners throughout North America. 

Nelson brings 10 years of experience in the AV industry to RTI, having previously served as national account trainer for Sony Electronics and home theater sales manager for Best Buy. At Sony, he was instrumental in the development and integration of video-based training for Sony products at Best Buy. As two-time store sales MVP at Best Buy, Nelson played a key role in increasing revenue and profit margins for the home theater department. 

“I’ve followed RTI with great interest throughout my career, and am very excited to join such an innovative, technology-driven company,” said Nelson. “I am delighted to join the team and look forward to working together to expand and educate our dealer network in North America.”

Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Northern Colorado. He is based in Minnesota and reports to Pete Baker.
