Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) has named Tyler Nelson as a national product trainer for the company.
In his new role, Nelson is responsible for designing and conducting product training and education programs for the company's dealers and distribution partners throughout North America.
Nelson brings 10 years of experience in the AV industry to RTI, having previously served as national account trainer for Sony Electronics and home theater sales manager for Best Buy. At Sony, he was instrumental in the development and integration of video-based training for Sony products at Best Buy. As two-time store sales MVP at Best Buy, Nelson played a key role in increasing revenue and profit margins for the home theater department.

Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Northern Colorado. He is based in Minnesota and reports to Pete Baker.
