RTI Launches Lower Priced Control System Kit

The company’s latest packaged offering contains the award-winning RTiPanel app, complemented by the sleek T2i remote control, and utilizes the RP-4 control processor for powerful one-way control over AV systems and other electronics.

Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) has launched a new comprehensive control system kit. The company’s latest packaged offering contains the its RTiPanel app, complemented by the T2i remote control, and utilizes the RP-4 control processor for one-way control over AV systems and other electronics.

“Consumers are increasingly seeking out intuitive control solutions that match the performance of today’s AV components and electronic equipment, but often find the available control platforms to be limited and cost-prohibitive,” said Scott Kelley, VP sales and marketing, RTI. “With this new system kit, RTI is providing integrators with a value-centric proposition, allowing them to deliver powerful control via the amazing RTiPanel app and the convenience of a dedicated remote control to their customers at an extremely affordable cost.”

Ideal for home theaters, media centers, and bedrooms, RTI’s system kit is designed to bring intuitive, powerful, and economical one-way control to smaller environments. Using RTI’s RTiPanel app, up to five users can control installed electronic systems via their favorite Apple smartphones and tablets. In addition, the system kit’s T2i remote control provides the convenience of dedicated control.

Completely customizable, the T2i has a 2.8-inch color touchscreen and programmable hard buttons. As a result, installers are able to provide home or business automation customers with a consistent experience across all controllers within their system, or a unique interface designed to set their device apart.

Centered on RTI’s RP-4 RF control processor, the kit’s all-in-one processing solution features an integrated 433-MHz RF receiver, four assignable IR ports, two voltage sense inputs, and two programmable relay outputs. The kit even includes four vIRsa Mouse IR emitters, for a cost-effective package with expanded control options and dependable operation of AV, and other electronic systems.
