RTI Promotes Mike Everett to VP of Sales and Marketing Everett will oversee all of the sales and marketing activities for RTI and its Pro Control division in the North American and Latin American markets.RS Staff ⋅ Oct 16, 2015 Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI), a control and automation manufacturer for residential and light commercial settings, has promoted Mike Everett to vice president of sales and marketing, Americas. In his new position, Everett will oversee all of the sales and marketing activities for RTI and its Pro Control division in the North American and Latin American markets, including defining the company’s strategic direction, developing new initiatives and business opportunities, and managing sales and marketing departments. Everett brings more than 30 years of experience in the AV industry to his new role. He joined RTI in 2006 as regional sales manager and rose to general manager of Pro Control in 2009. Previously, he owned a Florida-based integration company, ProHome Technologies, Inc., and served as a buyer for Minneapolis retailer Audio King. Everett is based at RTI’s Minnesota headquarters. “Mike has been a key contributor to the success of RTI for nearly 10 years and is well equipped to step into this demanding role,” said John Demskie, RTI’s founder and CEO. “Leading our Pro Control division, his solid technical background and considerable industry experience have been instrumental in creating a strong market impact. We look forward to having his leadership behind our RTI product line, as well.” Everett said, “Utilizing my experience, I will aim to expand RTI’s market presence while improving efficiencies, customer service, and revenue growth.
