Russound Appoints Brand Manager

Charles Hughes brings blue chip background to Russounds marketing team.

Newmarket, NH–Russound has appointed Charles Hughes as creative brand manager. The announcement was made by director of marketing, Rich Guida.

Russound is committed to remaining the market leader, and it takes more than a category-defining product line to accomplish that goal, Guida said. One of the strengths of the Russound brand is the way it evolves along with the industry, while continually evoking the technology leadership that sets the course.

Communicating the value of the Russound name and all it brings to the table is a formidable challenge, Guida added. That is why Im thrilled to announce Charles is part of the team. He is a recognized expert on branding with an extensive background helping companies like AT&T, FedEx, and American Express define their public image. Were lucky to have him on board.

In his new role, Hughes is responsible for setting the course for Russound branding efforts, with responsibility for the resources used to convey the message, both in-print and online.

?Prior to joining Russound, Hughes served as creative director at Pierce/Omnicom in Portland, Maine, where he guided graphic branding and strategic brand execution for integrated experiential marketing across multiple channels. Earlier positions included roles at such prestigious marketing agencies as Boathouse Group, Via, and Digitas.
