Newmarket, NH–Russound has appointed Valerie Wolf as director of project management and Bruce Wollen as senior hardware engineer.
Under Wolf’s direction, project management will act as the liaison among all Russound departments. This will expedite the flow of information between personnel, ensuring the timely development of Russound products. Reporting directly to owner and president Maureen K. Baldwin, Wolf will lead cross-functional project teams dedicated to efficiency in meeting goals, milestones and timeframes of multiple projects. She brings experience to her new role from companies such as Partners HealthCare, Aspect Communications, and Nortel Networks.
“Wolf will build a team to ensure that products are developed on time and within budget,” Baldwin said. “Her expertise in the field of project management is an asset to Russound and will promote a more efficient approach to our research and development process, making our employees’ jobs, in all departments, easier.”
Bruce Wollen joined Russound in January 2006 as a senior hardware engineer and is working on developing many of the company’s new user interfaces and source components. Wollen has held senior engineering positions with TJD Group, Fullplay Media, and Applied Microsystems.
