Russound’s International Partner Conference a Hit

Russound's inaugural International Partner Conference (IPC) was a resounding success, with industry professionals from 16 countries and five continents having attended the event.

Newmarket, NH–Russound’s inaugural International Partner Conference (IPC) was a resounding success, according to the company. Industry professionals from 16 countries and five continents attended the event. Held at corporate headquarters in Newmarket, New Hampshire, following CEDIA EXPO 2005, attendees took part in factory tours, met Russound personnel face-to-face, and attended meetings designed to identify their needs.

“Events like the IPC reinforce Russound’s dedication to customer service and support,” said Jon Le Blanc, director, International Division. “Better communication between businesses benefits everyone. The IPC gave people a venue to voice their opinions and share their insight,” he added.

Russound’s Training Education and Certification Department grew out of a need to give its customers the necessary training and support to grow their businesses. IPC guests received a sneak peek of Russound’s new training room. Accommodating up to 20 students, the training facility includes dual projection screens, a fully operational RNET system and individual learning stations, equipped with a state-of-the-art networked PC.

Participants included principals from A/V integration companies from Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America. Due to the overwhelming success of the conference, attendees have expressed a desire for future IPC events. “Since the IPC was the first of its kind for Russound, participation was limited. Future events will be developed to include a larger number of participants and additional educational sessions in our new state-of-the-art training facility. In all, communication will continue to be the key to success with our partners,” said Le Blanc.

Maureen Baldwin, owner and CEO of Russound stated, “You can’t create products in a vacuum. Research gives us the means to know the pulse of the market, to create products that our customers want and add features or make improvements to existing product lines.” She went on to say, “The IPC provided the avenue for great brainstorming sessions. I am happy to have finally met our international partners in person and very pleased with the success of our first ever IPC event.”
