Savant Systems LLC has announced the addition of Heatmiser to their Partners in Excellence cooperative program.
Savant’s Partners in Excellence initiative has been targeted to achieve global compatibility between Savant’s control systems and a diverse group of manufacturers from the audio, video, lighting control, HVAC, and security industries, as well as devices and subsystems from many related markets.
Founded in 1968 and based in the UK, Heatmiser designs and builds energy management systems for residential and commercial applications which are distributed throughout Europe.
“We believe that bringing together Heatmiser’s experience in energy management products with Savant’s expertise in automation and control is a great combination,” said Alan Mee, technical advisor at Heatmiser. “The synergy between the two companies will make integration easier for installers in the field. We have found that people who understand their heating systems tend to use them to a greater degree of efficiency.”
Participation in Savant’s Partners in Excellence cooperative program will facilitate the seamless integration of Heatmiser’s devices within the Savant system environment.

The core of Savant’s technology is an open programmable platform built upon the Mac OS X operating system supporting various communication protocols and offering high speed AV switching, scaling and processing.
