Osterville, MA — Savant Systems LLC has appointed Ambassador Marketing as its sales representation in the Pacific Northwest region, MK Marketing in southern California, and Orion Integrated Systems in Florida.
The Ambassor Marketing was founded in 1986 and currently maintains seven employees with backgrounds in retail store management and national sales management. The firm also represents Vantage Controls, NAD, Integra, and other prominent manufacturers in the CEDIA marketplace.
“I have been watching Savant for more than two years now,” stated Ambassador president Jim Ribail, who has had an eye on the automation segment as an area of potential growth for his business. “With Savant, I was able to immediately identify several advantages, such as ease of operability and world-class fit and finish. Most notably, however, Savant has delivered the easiest programming platform in the entire industry, which we think will dramatically impact efficiency for our dealer base.”
“We are quite confident in the choice we have made for representation in the Pacific Northwest,” added Savant sales VP Ben Jamison. “We anticipate establishing a presence in the marketplace there and developing strong dealer relationships throughout the territory.”
MK Marketing is in its 18th year and covers the territory from two locations (Irvine and Van Nuys, California) with eight employees in the firm. The firm also represents Runco, Integra, NuVo, Stewart, and SpeakerCraft.
“MK Marketing has established a reputation for representing high-end specialty products,” explained principal Mike Kavanaugh. “We are confident that we can leverage our relationships with the best dealers in the territory and present them with what we believe is a genuine opportunity in the marketplace with Savant.”
“The ROSIE product line has expanded and we are thrilled with the opportunity to work with savvy veterans like Mike and his team at MK Marketing in southern California,” Jamison added.
Orion Integrated Systems is based in Fort Lauderdale with six employees and a combined consumer electronics industry experience of over three decades.
“I view Savant’s ROSIE control platform as the future of control and custom integrated electronics,” said Orion president Scott Summers. “The days of having to write complex code are over; we are very excited to be on the tip of the spear.”
“We are pleased to have someone on board in Florida with the depth of understanding that Scott and his team at Orion has,” Jamison said. “We anticipate increased visibility and strong dealer relationships as a result of working together.”
