Savant Systems, LLC will be showcasing its newest technology including the Wi-Fi-based self-configuring Universal Remote Control, the SmartLighting Wi-Fi lighting control system and multi-room media distribution products at ISE 2014 Booth 7-N200 in Amsterdam February 4-6, 2014.

The ISE event is expected to attract more than 45,000 attendees from 140 countries worldwide.

Also being showcased at the Savant booth will be an array of Wi-Fi-based connected home solutions, Savant’s video tiling technology, both iOS and Android user interfaces, KNX integration, Savant’s DIN rail energy management products and a suite of software demonstrations including RacePoint Blueprint, LiteWare and EMS (Enterprise Management). The Savant booth will be hosted by representatives from the company as well as regional distributors speaking with customers and prospects. Coffee will be available at the booth.

The Savant Universal Remote has been designed for the modern media room, providing control of an entire audio/video system along with connected devices such as distributed audio, lighting, climate control and other features within a residential or commercial setting. Similar to Savant’s existing user interface options, the Savant Universal Remote is self-configuring once connected to the network, eliminating complex programming. The new universal remote from Savant expands the brand’s presence in the growing connected home marketplace with a versatile and affordable Wi-Fi-based solution. The Savant Universal Remote supports a menu of screens for controlling services throughout the home or workplace, and because it utilizes Wi-Fi connectivity, users can control devices without pointing or aiming—no direct line of sight is required.

“Wi-Fi is the worldwide standard for residential and commercial wireless networking, and this new remote will affordably deliver the control capabilities our customers want by leveraging the network that already exists in their home or business,” said Savant’s executive vice president corporate strategy and business development, Jim Carroll.

Savant’s SmartLighting Wi-Fi 802.11-based lighting control products provide integrators with a versatile solution that can be used as both a standalone lighting control platform or as part of a complete Savant automation system. Featuring a dimmer inside each double gang Wi-Fi-connected keypad, Savant has created the ultimate customizable solution ideal for both new construction and retrofit lighting control that can be integrated without rewiring the home or commercial facility.

Savant’s new family of multi-room media distribution products is composed of three video distribution systems (8×8, 8×6, 8×4), an audio distribution system (32×20) and two HDBaseT receivers to accommodate a wide range of installation options. This new family of devices compliments Savant’s recent Wi-Fi-based product introductions for the connected home, giving integrators the ultimate solution set for both residential and commercial applications. The media distribution products from Savant will be on static display in the booth at ISE and are available now.

“Our newest Wi-Fi-based connected home solutions continue Savant’s initiative to bring intelligent devices to a broad base of consumers seeking advanced functionality for a controlled environment,” concluded Carroll.
