Osterville, MA — Savant Systems LLC has taken occupancy of two new facilities located 15 minutes from each other on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
The companys headquarters is now on Main St. in Osterville, Massachusetts, in a building that used to be an A&Psupermarket. The 12,500-square-foot space houses executive offices and conference rooms, as well as marketing, inside sales, and accounting personnel. The HQ is also home to all hardware, software, and firmware engineers, as well as the IT and graphics departments.
We were able to house critical operations in our headquarters, in addition to a state-of-the-art training facility and a small prototyping area, reported Bruce Myers, CFO and VP of operations for Savant.
Savants 27,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Hyannis, Massachusetts, is connected to the Osterville headquarters via a powerful networking system.
Our factory is equipped with a thermo-chamber (tests reactions to hot and cold temperatures) and EMI testing chamber, allowing us to prepare for required certifications, Myers explained.
All final product testing and burn-in is accomplished in Hyannis, and the facility also houses offices for operations staff as well as the shipping and receiving departments. Our new facilities have been appointed to accommodate future expansion while allowing Savant to maximize operational productivity and efficiency right now, Myers added.
Cape Cod is an affluent area, making it an ideal base of operations for Savant and the products we design and build here, stated Savant president Jim Carroll. There is a tremendous sense of community on Cape Codour employees appreciate the quality of life in this region.
