Savant Systems is now shipping its Smart Series home control and automation product line to authorized Savant integrators, marking the fastest selling “pre-order” in the company’s history.
Smart Series products provide a complete connected home solution supporting safety, entertainment, comfort and lighting control.
Complete packages start at $1,599 U.S. MSRP and include the new Smart Host ($799 U.S. MSRP), remote and controller. Deployed over multiple rooms within the home, this brings the cost of a Savant solution as low as $1K per room.
The new Smart Series product line is offered through Savant’s network of over 1,500 authorized integrators spanning 35 countries, and pre-orders for the Smart Series technology surpassed records for any new product introduction in the company’s 8-year history.
Savant’s technology leverages existing Wi-Fi home networks as the center of the smart home, enabling monitoring of security systems, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, remote video access, smart thermostats, energy monitoring and complete management of media and entertainment equipment, all from a single app.
The foundation of the new lineup is the Smart Host which, coupled with Savant’s software, delivers smart home features such as remote monitoring, access to security, lighting control, energy management, climate control, security cameras, whole-house entertainment and more.
