Irvine, CA–Responding to growing mainstream interest in home automation, California-based manufacturer Smarthome has made its line of automation products available on Amazon.com.
Smarthome sells both proprietary and other manufacturers’ home automation products that remotely and/or automatically monitor and control home lighting, security, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, and entertainment systems.
Later this year, Smarthome will add products on Amazon.com incorporating Insteon, a new home automation networking technology developed by the company. Insteon is the first dual-band wireless home-control network technology combining RF communications with the home’s existing wiring, or powerline, to deliver a secure connection for automatic or remote control of lighting, security, entertainment systems, appliances and climate.
