Long Beach, CA–SmartLabs Inc. has revealed details of its new dealer program, SmarthomePro. Program benefits include comprehensive training programs, special dealer pricing, online and telephone ordering, a Web-enabled knowledge database, marketing assistance, and dealer-dedicated sales and technical support.
“Thanks to a new generation of products and advances in home control technology, home automation has become affordable for mainstream homeowners,” said David Luke, director of SmarthomePro. “This opens new avenues of business to installers of security, electrical, audio, video, telecommunications, networking and other home equipment. The new SmarthomePro dealer program is designed to provide these installers with the training and products necessary for them to participate in that growth.”
To address the challenge of marketing to new business segments, the SmarthomePro program includes a weekly e-mail newsletter with tips on how to make home automation installation part of a dealer’s business, showcases new products, provides technical tips, and features discount promotions.
