Charlotte, NC — SnapAV, a manufacturer and exclusive source of nearly 550 products for the custom audio-video channel in the U.S. and Canada, has launched a new website (www.snapav.com) to better serve its dealers.
The website is designed to provide better navigation, including a streamlined checkout process; improved product information, including real-time product stock levels, easy access to supporting documents and videos, and auto-calculated profit margins for every product sold.
“We made a strategic commitment to technology in our operations to drive efficiency for us and our dealers,” said SnapAV president Jay Faison. “It is a key part of running a low-overhead operation and keeping our dealer prices aggressively low. We have consistently received kudos for our old website, but this new platform really takes our ability to serve our dealers to a new level. ”
Near-term enhancements include robust reporting that helps dealers understand their SnapAV purchasing trends and savings; self-service functions that enable dealers to administer their accounts (ex. make payments, track shipments) 24 hours a day and seven days a week, and cross-category packages for products often used together, for a streamlined ordering process.
