SnapAV’s Binary Compression Connector Line

Charlotte, NC — SnapAV, a manufacturer of more than 550 products for the custom audio-video channel, has added compression connection products to its Binary brand of cables, baluns, and bulk wire.

Available now are a wide variety of F, RCA, and BNC male (including right-angle) compression fittings for RG59 and RG6 Quadshield and RG6/U type cables as well as a single-handed operation compression tool for F/BNC/RCA RG-6 and RJ-100 connectors.

Packaged in bags of 20, the SnapAV fittings feature a quick-connect compression connector design and are constructed of sturdy metal for years of trouble-free performance. To help minimize the dealers’ cost to enter the profitable category, SnapAV is availing its compression tool to dealers for approximately half the cost of competitors’ similar tool.

“There are a ton of benefits to using connectors — whether it is ensuring wire integrity in new construction, fishing wire in retro installs or dressing a rack,” said SnapAV’s president Jay Faison. “Our research shows two main reasons that many dealers resist a move to connectors — the quality of the connector and the price of the tool. We’ve addressed both of those concerns with our offering.”

Steve Hayes, SnapAV’s VP of dealer profitability added, “We engineered two solutions that we believe installers will appreciate. First, we incorporated high quality metals into the connectors to enhance signal transfer integrity. Second, we engineered a tool that is easily adjustable to accommodate not only our compression connectors, but others as well, with a simple twist of the adjustment screw.”
