“Sony is a brand that’s always in high demand, and their new products – particularly on the high-performance end – are some of the most popular in the business,” said Curt Hayes, Capitol’s president and CFO. “We’re honored to have been selected as a Sony distributor, as it further increases the depth and quality of the solutions we can offer our customers.”
“I am thrilled to add Capitol to Sony’s AV Specialty/CI channel-partner list,” said Frank Sterns, Sony’s VP of custom integration. “They provide superb customer service, dealer support and product training. Their customer-focused approach fits perfectly with Sony’s new AV Specialty/CI strategy which is committed to bringing the premium home experience of 4k UHD TV and hi resolution audio to consumers through select specialty retailers and custom integration professionals.”
In the home theater category, Capitol now carries Sony’s new 4K Home Theater ES Projector with 4K ARC-F Lens. Featuring Sony’s SXRD 4K technology, it is the company’s most immersive movie theater projector to date, with greater than four times 1080p resolution, anamorphic 3D, and HD to 4K upscaling. Integrators can bundle that with a Sony WiFi streaming Blu-ray player with 4K upscaling and a new HD soundbar and wireless subwoofer featuring 7.1 surround sound to create a truly state-of-the-art system.
As Ultra HD continues to gain traction in the marketplace, Sony’s flagship 4K Ultra HD televisions deliver four times the clarity of conventional HD TVs and feature the company’s TRILUMINOS display, producing the widest color spectrum available. And Sony’s X-tended Dynamic Range PRO full-array local dimming technology offers up to three times the brightness range of standard LED HDTVs. Combined with a new Sony 4K Ultra HD media player and the company’s blossoming library of 4K content, these new models make an attractive package for any enthusiast.
On the home audio front there is a wide range of new models including Sony’s new ES Hi-Res Integrated 2-Channel Amplifier, and a 7.2 Ch Hi-Res WiFi Network AV Receiver. The breadth and depth of the company’s audio components and cutting-edge Hi-Res technology ensure an attractive solution for every installation.
