Sound Developments has become the exclusive United States distributor of Procella loudspeakers and amplifiers.
Sound Developments, of Richmond, BC, is a successful 15-year-old Canadian specialty audio video distributor that launched distribution of products in the U.S. in mid-2013. Sound Developments’ relationship with Procella Audio began in early 2012 when the company became Procella’s distributor for Canada. The framework for the agreement for U.S. distribution was reached just before CEDIA EXPO 2013. As part of the agreement, Procella Audio director Chuck Back assumes responsibility for Sound Developments’ expanding U. S. portfolio of products, as the company’s U.S. director of sales. Concurrent with this agreement, Sound Developments will also become the exclusive U.S. distributor for StormAudio multichannel and 3D Audio processors and power amplifiers.

Back will continue to operate from his current office in Los Angeles, CA, while Procella warehousing of product moves to the Sound Developments warehouse in Chicago. Billing and payments will be processed through the Sound Developments main office in Richmond, B.C.
As a specialty distributor in the international model, Sound Developments utilizes independent sales representatives and is the exclusive U.S. supplier for several product lines, including Procella, Front Row seating and StormAudio electronics. Additional products complete the mix, and the company offers next-day delivery throughout the continental U.S. for nearly all products. Through this agreement, existing Procella dealers will be able to purchase products from the complete Sound Developments portfolio.
