Soundcast will kick off a new customer promotion that offers $80 cash back to customers when they purchase an OutCast Music System (OutCast 1.2 or OutCast 1.2 Jr.) with a BlueCast Bluetooth adapter. The BlueCast adapter features AptX and AAC technology for HD-quality audio and has a suggested retail price of $79.99.
“With the BlueCast adapter, consumers can use their portable Bluetooth devices to stream their favorite music wirelessly to the OutCast speaker system,” stated Tom Dixon, vice president of marketing. “With the $80 cash rebate direct from Soundcast, they’re essentially getting the Bluetooth feature for free. The Soundcast BlueCast adapter features playback capabilities that allow end-users to access and enjoy their personal music from a wide variety of mobile Internet music apps including iTunes, Pandora, Spotify, Rhapsody, iHeartRADIO, TuneIn, and others. The receiver adapter simply docks into the OutCast or OutCast Jr’s 3.5mm audio port to quickly connect any Bluetooth wireless audio source device including: iPhones, iPads, Android phones, Windows phones, tablets, netbooks, and other devices within range.
