Osterville, MA — Savant Systems has appointed Elite Marketing as sales representation for Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The rep firm was established by Dale Pugh and Hut Hutto in 2005, and currently operates with four employees.
“We maintain a best-in-class philosophy—it is our mission to supply integrators in the territory with the finest vendors in each category,” reported Elite principal Dale Pugh. “We are excited by the opportunity to represent Savant and we feel strongly that their open architecture platform is the best system available. It will allow us the flexibility to deliver Savant products along with other associated best-in-class hardware as turnkey solutions for our integrator customer base.”
Elite Marketing is constructing training, office, and showroom facility in Dallas, slated to open in the first quarter of 2010. Currently, Elite has personnel based in Dallas, Houston, and Austin, covering all of the major markets in Texas and with easy accessibility to the remaining portions of the territory.
“Savant is counting on Dale and his team to establish key relationships in Texas and the surrounding states—we believe that their years of experience in this industry will yield positive results for Savant,” stated Savant Sales VP Ben Jamison.
Elite Marketing also represents B&K, Genelec, Meridian, Sherbourn, Tripp Lite, TruAudio, and other prominent manufacturers in the CEDIA marketplace.
