Stampede Adds More Staff from Electrograph

Stampede, the distributor of presentation and home theater technology, has hired three more former Electrograph staffers. Overall the company has hired 12 of Electrograph’s former employees since its liquidation last summer.

Kevin Welling, Karen Meneghetti, and Alex Ivani are joining Stampede’s sales and product management team.

“We are capitalizing on the opportunity that Electrograph’s unfortunate demise presents for us,” Stampede president and COO, Kevin Kelly, said. “Some incredible industry professionals are available now and we want the cream of the crop on our growing team. We are thrilled to have these three outstanding producers join the Stampede team.”

Welling joins Stampede as director of sales, western region, integration markets. He will be responsible for the southwest and western territories. Previously Welling was southwest senior territory manager for Electrograph. He has 13 years of experience in the Pro AV market.

Meneghetti brings 17 years of expertise in the AV and peripherals industries to her new position as senior relationship manager, key accounts for Stampede. Most recently she was responsible for finance and marketing for a family-owned business. Previously she had worked for Electrograph (formerly ICG Distribution) and opened its Texas branch in 1993. In her last position with Electrograph she was national accounts manager.

Ivani will be Stampede’s newest product manager on the vendor management team. He has worked in electronics for the past 13 years, most recently as a senior buyer for Electrograph. He was responsible for the top vendors at Electrograph (and formerly ICG).
