Charlotte, NC — SnapAV, a manufacturer and exclusive distributor of nearly 500 products for the custom audio/video channel in the U.S. and Canada, has hired Steve Hayes has joined the company as vice president of dealer profitability.
SnapAV president Jay Faison reports that the company created this unique role for Hayes based on their shared philosophy of implementing process driven methodologies that enable custom home theater installation companies to run more profitable businesses.
As an industry executive and business consultant for nearly three decades, Hayes has helped corporations and retailers run more efficient operations. He has served as International CEDIA President including multiple executive chairs on the CEDIA Board of Directors and was owner of Custom Electronics Inc. of Falmouth, Maine. Most recently Hayes served as SpeakerCraft executive vice president of sales.

These are the very same issues that Hayes focused on when he presided over CEDIA, consulted privately to dealers and operated his own business.
