Stewart Filmscreen has received GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certification for framing systems and materials.
The GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certification indicates that a product has met the standards for clean indoor air and contributes to healthy work, home, school, and other indoor environments.
GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certification establishes chemical emission limits to define low-emitting materials for environments where people spend an extended period of time. Children, in particular, are vulnerable to airborne toxins, as they have higher inhalation rates per pound of body weight than adults.
GREENGUARD Certification is accepted by a number of green building programs, including the United States Green Building Council’s (USGBC) LEED Rating System.
The not-for-profit GREENGUARD Environmental Institute oversees the GREENGUARD Certification Programs and establishes acceptable indoor standards for indoor products, environments and buildings.
