Stewart Previews LuminEsse Screen at ISE 2015

Stewart Filmscreen has launched the LuminEsse, a new rigid front-projection wall screen system with an "edgeless" design.

Stewart Filmscreen has launched the LuminEsse, a new rigid front-projection wall screen system with an “edgeless” design. Stewart Filmscreen previewed the product at ISE 2015.

The LuminEsse screen is meant to give technology integrators, consultants, designers, and property owners the ability to offer appreciable aesthetics.

The LuminEsse screen is meant to give technology integrators, consultants, designers, and property owners the ability to offer appreciable aesthetics, in addition to providing the appropriate screen material for the application. LuminEsse can be configured with any of Stewart Filmscreen’s 4K+ rated front projection materials, including FireHawk G4, GrayHawk RS® G4, StudioTek 130, and more.

“It’s no secret that clients are more demanding than ever when it comes to having a great-looking screen whether the screen in in use or not. This means a ‘floating image’ experience when in use and an ‘edgeless’ art piece effect when not,” said Grant Stewart, President and CEO of Stewart Filmscreen. “Now, the technology professional can offer his or her clients just that, but with far more flexibility when it comes to specifying the right gain for the particular application plus the impeccable and impressive image quality that is synonymous with Stewart.”

With an elegant 3/8-inch thin bezel, LuminEsse fits modern expectations for more screen size, less visible framing system, while providing a sleek appearance, even when not being viewed. The LuminEsse front-projection wall screen features an optional LED backlighting kit that goes beyond wow factor to make viewing more comfortable. Scientifically speaking, the LED lighting acts as bias lighting, relaxing the iris of the eye and causing less strain during extended viewing. When the screen is on, the multicolored perimeter lighting enriches onscreen content and when off, it can be used to set the mood of the room.

“This isn’t a new category for Stewart per se, but it’s an exciting and enhanced product offering for sure. LuminEsse is demonstrative of the New Stewart Filmscreen. With this product and the others coming to market later this year, we are responding to the needs of technology professionals working on the front lines of the AV industry, delivering the broadest range of solutions to meet ever-increasing client demands,” furthered Stewart.

Available in sizes up to 120-inches (diagonal) in HD formats and in sizes up to 128-inches (diagonal) in Cinemascope configurations, the LuminEsse rigid front projection screen system utilizes Stewart’s wall mount system, making screen installation inexpensive, simple, and fast. Additional mounting solutions will become available in the coming months.

Attendees of ISE 2015 are invited to see Stewart Filmscreen’s robust lineup of projection screen solutions on display in stand #1-F50, where LuminEsse and several other new screen materials and framing systems will make their international debut.
