StreamUnlimited, a provider of software solutions and modules for connected audio products, has launched streaming audio with digital room correction with StreamUnlimited’s StreamSDK technology, created in partnership with Dirac Research.

StreamUnlimited’s wireless active speaker platform is designed by Meracus, featuring WiSA wireless audio link and Dirac room correction. The streaming audio enhancement features StreamUnlimited’s StreamSDK that transports streaming audio functionality to various consumer electronics devices, such as radio services, UPnP/DLNA, Chromecast built-in speakers, USB, Bluetooth, and more.

With multiroom functionality and synchronization below two microseconds, StreamSDK’s streaming audio with digital room correction aims to allow audio manufacturers to develop products more cost-efficiently and time effectively. Featuring WiSA lossless, low latency, multichannel audio distribution powered by Summit Semiconductors, and Dirac Live digital room correction technology, the latest innovation from StreamUnlimited provides a flexible solution to audio manufacturers.

“We have worked closely with Dirac to develop a streaming audio solution with digital room correction,” said Frits Wittgrefe, chief executive officer for StreamUnlimited. “We are pleased to bring this solution to market to provide our valued customers with a feature-rich reliable solution. By integrating our StreamSDK, audio manufacturers can bring streaming products to market much faster, eliminating the need for engineering resources that typically create launch delays.”
