SurgeX has expanded its NEMA line with the XN240, a 240-volt NEMA surge eliminator.

The XN240 offers the same technology featured in the company’s XN120, but with the ability to offer power protection for larger products and panels that require 240-volt service.
Like the XN120, the XN240 unit is hardwired as a subpanel at the service entrance or the equipment room. When the panels/projector is connected to an outlet fed through the XN240, the SurgeX unit will protect and condition the unit from the branch circuit.
“The XN240 provides our installers a unique solution that allows them to save time, money and space all the while giving them the confidence of SurgeX’s surge elimination technology ensuring their projects are 100 percent protected 100 percent of the time,” said SurgeX senior vice president, Shannon Townley. “As the only solution of its kind on the market, we are filling a huge gap in the residential market and making sure our dealers have the products they need to fully protect every installation.”
The XN240 meets NEC code requirements for installation at the service entrance, sub-panels, and in ceiling plenums. The XN240 features a dedicated 240-volt/20 AMP circuit and has two surge suppression modules, one for each 120-volt leg, allowing integrators to safeguard a variety of equipment.
