SurgeX and JARMAC Join Forces for New England Region

SurgeX has formed a partnership with specialty marketing representatives Jarmac, a provider of high quality service for custom installers in the New England and upstate New York regions.

SurgeX has formed a partnership with specialty marketing representatives Jarmac, a provider of high quality service for custom installers in the New England and upstate New York regions.

“Jarmac provides exceptional service, sales, and technical training that prepares dealers to not only sell, but also to help them understand the value and functionality of the products they represent,” said Shannon Townley, president of SurgeX. “This is especially critical with smart energy management systems because much of the value is in protection and efficiency, something the end user may not always see.”

The Jarmac team brings added value because of its success working with designers, architects, builders, and homeowners, in addition to the AV integrator community. With the increase in hurricanes, blizzards, and other severe weather events causing outages and other power anomalies in the northeast, Jarmac will be an important regional partner. Their marketing and training support will cover SurgeX’s full suite of residential smart energy solutions for electrical panels, AV racks, all the way down to single outlet solutions.

“The custom installers we work with handle jobs of all size and scope so it’s critical we have a power partner with products that can handle the demands of automation systems, home offices, home theaters, and more,” said Peter Dyroff, president of Jarmac. “Not only does SurgeX have solutions for every scenario, but they also deliver products quickly and provide our dealers with the most sophisticated smart energy management and surge protection available in the residential market.”

SurgeX offers a complete line of AC power products for protection, conditioning, and control of sensitive electrical and electronic equipment, especially DSP and microprocessor-based equipment.
