Zebulon, NC — Pro AV industry AC power protection and control technology manufacturers SurgeX and LynTec have formed of a strategic alliance, which enables the two companies to “cross-pollinate” their software and hardware engineering departments.

LynTec president Mark Bishop made the following observation regarding the new alliance, “Our customers have been asking for integrated power control and electrical protection systems, and there is no one we’d rather bring these solutions to the table with than SurgeX. The combination of our respective technologies will set the standard for professional AV system power platforms moving forward.”
Michael McCook, SurgeX founder and new business development consultant, added, “These two innovative companies have come together to collaborate on the most critical aspect of system integration, the AC power foundation. Our mutual efforts will also move forward on a global scale to provide product solutions for international power platforms.”
Headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas, LynTec was founded by Lynn Potter in 1982. The company’s focus has been on manufacturing AC power sequencing products for sound and theatrical lighting systems.
SurgeX, based in Zebulon, North Carolina, has been a manufacturer of power conditioners and surge eliminators for the professional audio, video, broadcast, and multimedia marketplace, for more than 13 years.
