SVS has hired Mitch Witten to the role of senior director of Strategic Development. Witten is a seasoned consumer electronics veteran who brings a wealth of product management experience from some of the most successful companies in the industry.
Witten joins SVS with over 30 years of targeted experience, including senior management roles at Harman International, Core Brands, Pioneer Electronics, Sonance, and Monster Products/Beats where he worked directly with SVS President Gary Yacoubian. Most recently, Witten developed product and market strategy for DTS.

An avid music and film lover, Witten put together his first complete audio system at the age of twelve and was smitten with the category. After earning a Harvard degree in economics, Witten spurned a life of finance to work at Tech Hifi, a Boston area audio video retailer. Since then, his career in the consumer electronics industry has blossomed and he’s earned multiple awards and accolades. Witten has spent his entire career breaking new ground in the consumer electronics industry and he will be instrumental as SVS expands its wireless audio, home theater and other offerings.
