Mid-Atlantic member of the Catalyst AV distributors network, Tech Source has hired Adam Stern, formerly of Almo Distribution and Bryn Mawr Stereo, to bolster its inside sales team and provide additional support to its outside sales reps.
Stern began his career as a sales associate at Bryn Mawr Stereo in 1998 and continued on to run the Home Theater department at a Best Buy location and worked closely with the installation team, particularly in the area of upselling the customer.
“For the past 13 years I have worked at Almo Distribution where I sold TVs, home theater systems, video walls, digital signage, conference room products, and more,” Stern said. “The most exciting product line I have had was Elite Plasma TVs. When Sony came out with an OLED TV, it brought us back to that excitement again. I am thrilled to be at Tech Source because of my passion for the custom install channel and where I have great relationships with existing clients as well as bringing in new clients…I am excited to come to work every day!”
Tech Source owner Brett Neiderman acknowledged Stern’s extensive sales and installation background in the audio, video, and custom installation business. “Having worked in retail and distribution, Adam will bring knowledge and experience to our company and the dealers he will be working with. He will further strengthen our inside sales team and provide additional support to our outside sales reps as well.”
