THIEL Audio has appointed two independent sales representation firms — JMS Marketing covering the state of Michigan and Steve Greene Marketing covering the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S., effective immediately.

JMS Marketing was founded in 1985, and principal Joe Sanchez has a background in specialty audio, once the Western regional manager for Marantz.

“I have personally owned THIEL products for the last 15 years, and adding such a prestigious line will be important to my mix of specialty brands,” said Sanchez. “I have tremendous respect for Kathy Gornik and the THIEL organization, and I very much look forward to serving them here in Michigan.”

Steve Greene Marketing is a new organization founded in 2010 by principal Steve Greene, who brings nearly 30 years of consumer electronics sales and marketing experience with brands such as Pioneer, Aiwa, and Sharp.

“My company is very service oriented, firmly believing in frequent face-to-face interaction with dealers in my territory. I have greatly respected the THIEL product line for many years, and I am excited to represent a brand that has stood for such high quality sound and innovation for so long in the specialty audio market,” Greene said. “I particularly envision THIEL’s architectural speakers as an important part of the line—a quality solution for the integrators in my territory. I am also pleased to work with a company that delivers a beautiful furniture-grade finish and superior sonics from their line of traditional loudspeakers.”

The Mid-Atlantic region includes Eastern PA, Southern NJ, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. Steve Greene Marketing also represents Prima Luna, Mystere, Nordost, and Cambre.

“THIEL is very excited to have established sales representation in both Michigan and the Mid-Atlantic regions — I am confident that both firms will expand our sales channel through dealers that are the best fit for THIEL and with outlets genuinely enthusiastic about high performance and quality,” said Ken Dawkins, vice president, North American sales for THIEL. Both new reps will be attending an upcoming training session at the THIEL factory later this month in Lexington, KY.
