Lexington, KY — THIEL Loudspeakers (www.thielaudio.com) reported a successful showing of its CS3.7 flagship speaker, last month at the Salon Son Image show in Montreal, Canada.
The THIEL loudspeakers were featured with audio electronics from SimAudio as well as cables from Nordost. “We saw quite a bit of activity surrounding the THIEL speakers during Salon Son Image, and many commented that the sound in the suite was superb,” reported Steven Freytag, SF Marketing. The 2009 Salon Son Image show was held at the Centre Sheraton de Montréal April 2-5 and featured eight floors of live product demonstrations hosted by some of the world’s most respected audio and video manufacturers.
The show organizers report attendance between 10,000 and 12,000, making Salon Son Image the largest such event in North America. “We are pleased to have exhibited THIEL speakers at Salon Son Image and participate in an event with a focus on the audio enthusiasts in greater Montreal,” stated Ken Dawkins, THIEL’s vice president of North American sales. “Our CS3.7 loudspeaker was showcased wonderfully at Salon Son Image by a new THIEL dealer in the region-Audio D’ Occasion. We are excited about the prospect of establishing new relationships in Canada.”
“We really had a very positive experience at this year’s show-the room was mostly full all the time,” added Audio D’ Occasion president Mario Gagnon. “We received many enthusiastic comments regarding the THIEL speakers and left the show with quite a few referrals to interested consumers.”
