Three More Sponsors Join Queen of Hearts Benefit Concert at CEDIA 2017

Three more sponsors have joined the Queen of Hearts benefit concert being held opening night of CEDIA 2017.

Three more sponsors have joined the Queen of Hearts benefit concert being held opening night of CEDIA 2017. AudioControl, Peerless-AV, and Soundcast add to an impressive group, now totaling 14 major sponsors who have come together to produce the “best night” at this year’s EXPO.

If you like painting, 70s rock, and Vietnam-era swamp rock, the Queen of Hearts concert during CEDIA this year is the place to be on Thursday, September 7 starting at 6:30pm. Stage painter Noah Kaplan of Leon Speakers, local trio The Buckley’s, and the supreme CCR tribute band, Creedence Forever, will entertain and rock the night away.

The event is being held at Humphrey’s Concerts by the Bay, a 1400-seat concert venue. With iconic San Diego flair, Humphrey’s has hosted the finest acts from around the world. The outdoor venue is a perfect backdrop for the occasion with starlight, moonlight, and sailboats in the harbor.

The Queen of Hearts benefit concert honors 15 women of significance and is raising over $100,000 for a San Diego safe house for sex-trafficked girls. Proceeds will go to GenerateHope.

Origin Acoustics is the lead sponsor, followed by SnapAV and VITAL MGMT, founding sponsors of the event. Platinum sponsors AudioControl and Peerless-AV have joined HTSA and GoVisionTV as major contributors. The distinguished list of Gold-level sponsors include Leon Speakers, CATalyzing Communications, SurgeX and Soundcast. With OneFirefly, Connected Designs (a NAPCO Media publication) and Women in CT filling out the star-studded sponsor card.

As of August 1 only 150 tickets remain at the $100 level. Contact Paul Starkey, the event’s executive producer, for tickets at [email protected]

The Queen of Hearts Benefit doors open at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, and the program begins at 6:30 p.m. The evening festivities conclude at 10 p.m.
