THX Training is coming to the Knott’s Berry Farm Resort Hotel in Orange County, December 1-3.
The THX Certified Professional Home Theater 1 and 2, and Video Systems Calibration courses will be offered within steps of the famous theme park and a short drive to Southern California beaches. And for all THX workshop attendees, Knott’s Berry Farm is offering discounted hotel rates.
Earlier this week, THX executives addressed the trends in 3D technology at the Korea Electronics Show 2009 in Seoul, Korea. Rick Dean, vice president of strategic development at THX and chairman of the 3D@Home Consortium, talked about the future of 3D technology for home entertainment applications during his session: “3D and Maintaining Creative Intent.” Andrew Poulain, director of sales at THX, discussed trends in surround sound technology for the cinema and home.
