Bakersfield, CA–M.D. Manufacturing, the designer and manufacturer of whole-house central vacuum systems, has launched the Home Automation/Central Vacuum Survey–along with the prize of round-trip tickets for two to this year’s CEDIA EXPO.
The prize, which will be awarded to a randomly selected survey participant, consists of round-trip airplane tickets to Indianapolis, site of this year’s conference of the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) EXPO, September 8-12, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
“This survey will give us an important opportunity to learn about buying trends, what dealers and installers like and don’t like, and what issues they feel are important,” said M.D. Manufacturing general manager, Grant Olewiler. “It covers a previously overlooked aspect of the industry, and will help custom installers develop a better understanding of the marketplace and the views of their peers.”
The 16-question survey is intended to provide an insider’s profile of the rapidly growing central vacuum business, from manufacturers to end-users.
Participants will be able to voice their own comments and opinions about central vacuum manufacturers and other aspects of the business, and will be automatically entered to win the airline tickets to Indianapolis, or a cash equivalent. Survey participants must be a member of the central vacuum or home automation industry, or related professions.
The survey can be found at Survey Monkey. Results from the survey will be released shortly after its conclusion on July 8.
