Clean power manufacturer Torus Power has appointed Kevin Main as vice president of sales and marketing.

Main’s experience in the electronics industry spans more than 25 years. He comes to Torus Power after nearly more than a decade at JAM Industries—maker of professional audio and consumer electronics products and instruments—as director of sales and marketing for American audio and video and as national sales manager for JAM’s Erikson consumer division. Before that, Main worked at Kenwood Electronics and Jonic International in similar capacities.
“Kevin is a very strategic appointment because he brings to Torus Power an incredibly deep knowledge and experience in the consumer electronics and custom integration markets,” said Steve Nolan, vice president sales and operations, Plitron. “Kevin has worked with numerous high-quality, high-profile brands, including Arcam, Mark Levinson, Revel, JBL Synthesis, NuVo, and Canton, for years.”
This executive hire complements Torus Power’s strategic growth plan. Main is joining the team at a time when the company is adding more affordable, yet high-performance, power components to its already robust lineup, and will be tasked with building a more robust independent rep force and expanding the brand’s global reach.
