Triad Speakers has announced the return of long-time employee David Bailey.
From 1997 to 2011, Bailey had functioned as both inside sales coordinator and Western regional sales manager for the company. David departed in 2011 to pursue other career avenues, one of which included a 4.5-year inside sales stint with Underwriter’s Laboratories Energy and Power Technologies division.
In January of this year Bailey rejoined Triad, resuming his position of inside sales coordinator. In this role, he will be collaborating with sales, marketing, production, and administration on many levels, including order entry, phone support, specifying products for projects, customer service, and now, social media.
“David has tremendous working knowledge of our designs and all aspects of our unique lean manufacturing process,” said Triad Speakers director of North American sales Bruce Franklin. “He was also a part of our company culture for such a long time. His return is great news for us and our dealer network.”
“I certainly saw tremendous growth during my 14-year stay with Triad,” Bailey said. “When I started in 1997, our product mix consisted of only several LCRs, surrounds, subs and satellites. Today the line has grown to more than 100 solutions and we work really hard to help dealers pull off great installations.
“I’m with the company for a few weeks now and already it has been tremendous fun. I am enjoying surprising and reconnecting with dealers and reps when they call into Triad with technical questions or to place orders. I also like introducing myself to the newer accounts. I was away for almost 6 years, so I find it both familiar and new at the same time.”
