Tributaries has appointed Keith Dowd as national sales manager. He served most recently as eastern regional manager for AudioQuest.
The 27-year industry veteran brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his position. Keith has the ability to articulate the ideas and concepts of what it takes to be successful in the specialty home electronics business, said Tributaries president Joe Perfito. He especially enjoys working with sales people and system designers to help them better understand the productsand how to be more successful selling them.
This is a great industry and we are all fortunate to be able to make our living selling products that give the clients a great deal of pleasure, Dowd added. Im thrilled to be a part of a company that takes developing and supplying reliable high performance goods seriouslybut also has a lot of fun doing it.
After receiving a business degree at Emporia State University in Kansas, Dowd went to work for long-time high-end retailer Beatty Electronics. When that store closed he started a custom installation business that eventually grew to become Audioport, a successful high-end audio store and custom installation business. Dowd sold Audioport in the late 1990s and went to work for Madrigal Audio Labs, manufacturers of Mark Levinson, Proceed, and Revel products, among others. He worked his way up and eventually became director of North American sales for Madrigal.
