Tributaries has introduced its all-new and improved PROFIT connectors.
The PROFIT connectors have been improved, now requiring 50 percent less effort for compression and constructed of high impact plastic, according to the company. The improvement is made possible thanks to the merger of “Pro-Connect” and “Snap N’ Seal” who were purchased by Belden, these two fantastic designs have combined to yield a new connector with the performance of “Pro-Connect” and the ease of “Snap N’ Seal.”
The new connectors feature a gunmetal finish standard for all models. In the coming months, new signal identifier color rings will become available which will conveniently fit into the indented area just below the connector head. Connectors will only require one silver-crimping die to assemble the connectors; this enables the number of components to be kept down only to the essential items, simplifies installation, and eliminates the need to swap out crimping dies on the compression tool.
The new style will retain the key features such as: visible entry for RCA and BNC and, 360° radial compressions. The connectors will continue to work with a number of different industry compression tools. Tributaries guarantees all compression connectors fit on the coax sold by the company.
The newly designed F, RCA, and BNC for RG59 and RG6 are now available. Connectors for TRIBMINI will be available later this year.
